‘PLANT’: an original play by lana scott stringer (atl 2026)
PLANT tells the story of an industry plant trying to record a single, but as tensions rise in the studio, it’s only a matter of time until someone screws it all up.
Role: Sadie Trotter, lead vocalist
Character description: Sadie is complex. While seemingly neurotic and always seeking control, she truly is passionate about the opportunity in front of her, and has a lot riding on the dedication of her fellow band members whom she barely knows, let alone trusts.
‘Double delivery’: a short film by imani vaughn-jones
The Nelson sisters are throwing a baby shower, and things take a hilarious turn for the worse when the man delivering their food happens to be their long-lost deadbeat dad.
Role: Stacy
Character description: Comedic relief, Demia’s close friend, progressive, liberal, biracial Queen
