uglies: netflix feature film

“Uglies” was my first time working at the studio level. I was an office PA for the second photography unit in 2024. I learned so much about the similarities and differences of working at the ind[ie]pendent level versus the studio level of production. I had the opportunity to meet and form relationships with people who’ve been working in the film industry for over twenty years.

Synopsis: In a futuristic dystopia with enforced beauty standards, a teen awaiting mandatory cosmetic surgery embarks on a journey to find her missing friend.
